FlashModeLearn is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards.

1. Our Commitment
FlashModeLearn is committed to making our language learning platform accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We believe that everyone should have equal access to educational technology.
Our accessibility efforts include:

2. Conformance Status
2.1 Standards Applied
We aim to conform to the following accessibility standards:
- WCAG 2.1 Level AA: Web Content Accessibility Guidelines by the W3C
- ADA (voluntary aspiration): We aspire to meet the spirit of the Americans with Disabilities Act (Title III). As a Spain-based operator we are not directly subject to ADA enforcement by US authorities, but we voluntarily adopt these standards as best practice for accessibility.
- EAA: European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882)
- EN 301 549: European standard for ICT accessibility
2.2 Current Status
FlashModeLearn is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
We are actively working to achieve full conformance and have a roadmap to address identified gaps.
3. Accessibility Measures
FlashModeLearn has taken the following measures to ensure accessibility:
3.1 Design Features
- Color Contrast: Text and interactive elements meet minimum contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
- Dark Mode: Full dark mode support to reduce eye strain and improve readability
- Responsive Design: Content adapts to different screen sizes and zoom levels up to 200%
- Focus Indicators: Clear visual focus indicators for keyboard navigation
- Consistent Navigation: Predictable navigation patterns throughout the site
3.2 Interactive Features
- Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard
- Skip Links: Skip-to-content links for screen reader users
- Form Labels: All form fields have associated labels
- Error Identification: Form errors are clearly identified and described
- Touch Targets: Touch targets are at least 44x44 pixels on mobile
3.3 Content Features
- Alternative Text: Images include descriptive alt text
- Semantic HTML: Proper heading hierarchy and ARIA landmarks
- Readable Fonts: System fonts and minimum 16px base font size
- Clear Language: Plain language with defined technical terms

Accessibility of FlashModeLearn relies on the following technologies:

- JavaScript (with progressive enhancement)
These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.

We test accessibility with the following browser/assistive technology combinations:

- Safari with VoiceOver (macOS)

5. Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some parts of our service may not be fully accessible. Below are known limitations and our plans to address them:

- High Contrast: Works with high contrast accessibility modes
